You’ll be staying in one of three unique cabins, alongside The Trapper Cabin (sleeps 2+), The Ranch House (sleeps 7) and the Valleyview Cabin (coming soon!). Each space has its own vibe, but all share the same wide-open skies, peaceful setting, and access to the Hitchin’ Post, our shared guest clubhouse with a hot tub, pool table, darts, a fireplace and more. Trails, lakes and snowmobile access are just minutes away and Steamboat Springs is a scenic 30-minute drive over the pass.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the Boondocker Cabin. Rabbit Ears Basecamp is tucked just off US-40 at the base of Rabbit Ears Pass. You'll want a car to explore the area, especially if you're heading into Steamboat Springs, hitting the trails, or hauling gear for fishing or riding. In winter, we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles to handle snowy conditions. The roads to the cabins are plowed, but mountain weather can shift quickly. Parking is available right by your place for easy unloading.
