Three bedrooms offer flexible sleeping options, and two full bathrooms make mornings a breeze. Out on the deck, a private 5-person hot tub offers the perfect spot to unwind and take in the views. The kids’ corral adds a touch of western fun, and the swings in the yard are a favorite for sunset wind-downs. Big windows bring the outdoors in, with mountain views from every window!

You’ll be staying in one of three unique places, alongside The Trapper Cabin (sleeps 2+), The Boondocker Cabin (sleeps 10) and Valleyview Cabin (coming soon!). Each space has its own vibe, but all share the same wide-open skies and peaceful setting. Plus, all guests have access to the Hitchin’ Post, our shared game room with a hot tub, pool table, darts, a fireplace and more. Trails, lakes and snowmobile access are just minutes away and Steamboat Springs is a scenic 30-minute drive over the pass.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to The Ranch House and its private yard, tetherball and swings. Rabbit Ears Basecamp is tucked just off US-40 at the base of Rabbit Ears Pass. You'll want a car to explore the area, especially if you're heading into Steamboat Springs, hitting the trails, or hauling gear for fishing or riding. In winter, we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles to handle snowy conditions. The roads to the cabins are plowed, but mountain weather can shift quickly. Parking is available right by your place for easy unloading.
